Guardians of luck

This series of incense burners is inspired by the window tiles of traditional Chinese openwork ceramics (or wood panels), which feature auspicious animal or plant patterns, and by temples wishing cards, through which the wisher asks gods for divine guidance or good luck (safety, health, wealth, etc.) before planting incense sticks in the censer.
